Podfo is extremely proud to have supported this year’s Children’s Cancer Run held on the 20th May at Newcastle Racecourse.
The Children’s Cancer Run is an annual cross-country family fun run, that raises money for the North of England Children’s Cancer Research (NECCR). With a 5-mile, 3-mile and ‘mini mile’ cross country track available, the event was catered to suit all ages and abilities.
The race, which is in its 36th year, proved to be as successful as previous years with over £190,000 raised by those in attendance.
Two team members participated in the event on behalf of Podfo, while others handed out supporter packs to visitors on the day and provided encouragement to runners on the course. Podfo supplier The North East Foot Centre, was also on hand to provide participants with dynamic and static foot pressure analysis and to explain how this information can be used to help with their sporting performance.
Catherine Riley, Marketing Manager Podfo, said of the event: “We are proud to have supported such a great cause, and hope that the money raised at this event will continue to help the NECCR improve the lives of children with cancer in the North of England.”
