Your Podfo custom orthotic insoles have been prescribed by your healthcare professional as part of a treatment plan. They are classified as a medical device and are exclusively for your use only.  We have prepared this little guide for you to help with your first time use of our product.

Using Podfo for the first time:

Our clinical lead advises that you gradually increase the time you have your Podfo in your shoes each day, aiming for them to be in for the majority of the day within 3 weeks. Podfo will change the way you walk, so you must give yourself time to get used to them.

If you find your Podfo uncomfortable, then you should stop wearing them and contact your prescribing health care professional.

Keeping your Podfo orthotics in tip top condition:

Highly durable and waterproof, your Podfo orthotic insoles are very easy to care for. Podfo are tested to withstand the equivalent of 25 back to back ultra-marathons. Provided that you don’t mistreat them, they will meet the demands you place upon them, maintaining their support and structure.

Podfo can be simply washed in warm soapy water, using a non-abrasive cloth and left to air dry.

Reviewing your Podfo:

Your feet can change position and structure over time. It is therefore vital for you to review your Podfo orthotic insoles with your prescribing health care professional, especially if should you experience any discomfort.

Do not attempt to modify your Podfo, always seek advice from your health care professional.

Buying new footwear:

Your Podfo are seamlessly designed, slim, and lightweight. You will find that they can be switched between most styles of footwear, and your health care professional will advise you on the type of shoe that would work best for your needs.

We do recommend that you should always take your Podfo orthotic insoles with you when trying on new shoes.
